On October 20-22, 2021, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine,
the 5th International Research and Practical Conference “CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY: SCIENCE, ECONOMY AND PRODUCTION” took
place on the basis of Shostka Institute of Sumy State University. The format of the conference was unusual,
remote with the use of the Internet service Google Meet.The representative conference was attended by 114 scientists from Ukraine,
Poland, Azerbaijan, Latvia and Uzbekistan.
There were representatives of universities, enterprises, the Armed Forces, scientific and government agencies from
Kyiv, Warsaw, Baku, Tashkent, Riga, Kharkiv, Lviv, Gliwice, Beruni, Dnipro, Sumy, Shostka, Glukhiv.
The following spoke at the plenary session:
Zakusylo Roman Vasylovych, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Deputy Director of Shostka Institute of Sumy State University for Research,
Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference.
Vaskivskyi Mykhailo Ivanovych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine,
Deputy Head of the Central Research Institute of Armaments and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Voievudka Andzhei Tadeush, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, State Expert of Poland.
Pavlenko Oksana Viacheslavivna, Ph.D., Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
The conference had seven directions:
1. Special Chemical Technology, Production of Ammunition and Blasting Work in Industry.
2. General Chemical Technology, Ecology and Recycling problems.
3. Energy Saving and Alternative Fuels.
4. Economy of Production and Management.
5. Information Technology, Modeling and Automation.
6. Chemistry and Pharmaceutics.
7. Philosophical, Methodological and Social Aspects of Production.
An important and useful exchange of information on advanced research and development in priority areas of chemical technology,
analysis of modern scientific problems, theory and practice of production management, identification of current areas of research
in the interests of industry, market introduction of new developments and technical solutions took place between the guests
of the conference. A collection of scientific papers will be published as a result of the conference.
