Sumy State University is among the leaders in Ukraine in the number of supported projects,
which confirms the active integration of the university into the international educational space.
The European Commission has announced the results of the 2020 competition for Jean Monnet projects of the EU ERASMUS + Program.
According to the results of the competition, Sumy State University is among the leaders in Ukraine in the number of supported projects,
which confirms the active integration of the university into the international educational space.
Thus, out of 38 projects of the Jean Monnet direction recommended for funding in Ukraine,
7 projects were supported by Sumy State University, including the project of lectures of the Department of Economics and Management
of Shostka Institute. Such senior lecturers as Inna Novykova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Iryna Prygara,
Candidate of Economic Sciences, Oleksandr Tur, Candidate of Economic Sciences worked
on the subject “The Application of Integrated Communications for Informing the Community on the Issues of European integration
and e-democracy” (project manager I. Novykova). Researchers will conduct scientific and analytical information activities
to form public support for Ukraine’s EU integration as a process of internal reforms aimed at bringing living standards in the country
closer to European ones by explaining the benefits that arise at different stages of such integration.
The project accumulates the cooperation of all educational institutions of the city, coordinates the activities of scientists
and teachers to systematize knowledge among young people and the public in the context of awareness of the benefits and
the necessity for reforms carried out by the government.
